Basix Mini Butt Plug from Nice'n'Naughty

Another review for Nice'n'Naughty, although this one is a little different for me as I received something which i've never tried before - the Basix Mini Butt Plug by Pipedream!

Most of my previous reviews have been for dildos or vibrators as the idea of putting something into my private back quarter somewhat disturbed me ....this didn't stop my curiosity though!

After some careful consideration, I agreed to test out this Basix Mini Butt Plug - mainly because it didn't look too obtrusive or scary (i'm such a wimp).

The packaging for this is pretty basic ....a clear, sturdy plastic casing which shows exactly what you've got for your money. There are no instructions or anything either, although logically, you can't really go wrong!

Once removed from the packaging, the butt plug is relatively small both in length and girth. The material used is American-made rubber and is 100% phthalates and latex-free making it both safe for the environment and hypoallergenic. Excluding the base, the length is 4" and the circumference is just under 2" at the very tip and just under 3" at it's fattest part ....now to try it!

As with anything anal related, hygiene is of the utmost importance so please be sure to clean your new toy thoroughly before and after each use and never go straight from anal to vaginal use before cleaning first!

Once I cleaned my new toy, I began to prepare myself for intrusion. A healthy dollop of lube and I was all set ....or so I thought! As this is the first time i've ever used an anal toy, I found myslef fumbling around quite a bit - kinda pleased my man wasn't there to witness this debacle as he'd probably have burst out laughing at me. When I first felt this butt plug in my hand, I thought wow, this is nice, flexible and small so it should be okay for my first time ....I was wrong.

The size and design of this are perfect, although the flexibility caused me a number of problems - mainly getting the damn thing in. Each time I tried to ease it inside me, it just bent. Some 20 minutes and lots of sweating later, I could finally breathe a sigh of relief as i'd at last achieved what i'd set out to do - get the butt plug in and have some fun.

Once I actually managed to get this where I wanted it, I was pleasantly surprised by how it felt. Although the bendiness caused me a few problems, it allowed the butt plug to adapt to my shape and size making it very unobtrusive and comfortable. It did try to 'pop' out a couple of times but i'm not sure if that's just because I wasn't positioned too well. I had no idea how turned on I could get through using this and giving my clit some stimulation at the same time .....WOW!!

Overall I really liked the size and texture of this although it could definately do with being a little sturdier. The colour is quite pretty and although it did have a bit of a smell to it, it certainly wasn't as overpowering as some.

The front of the box is held shut by a magnetic fastening which is very easy to open and then you're able to just sit and view your new toy in awe. There's a brief description of the Icicles on the inside cover of the box explaining that it's 'hand-crafted, elegant and upscale with amazing attention to detail' and they're not at all wrong.

To remove the massager, simply open the box from the top and it just slides out. It is encased in a white spongy protector to ensure it's safe arrival and it's perfect to re-store the Icicles in once you're done.

I think you'll agree that this is an exquisite work of art which wouldn't look out of place as a decorative ornament in your living room - I bet there wouldn't be many people who would imagine the secret pleasures it can bring! The dildo has been uniquely designed to represent an octopus tentacle and I have to say, it's pretty darn close.

Delicate pleasure bumps

As this dildo is made from glass, it's hypoallergenic, waterproof, hard-wearing, long lasting and extremely versatile in that you can either use it heated (just pop in microwave/hold under warm water), or cold (hold under cold water/place in freezer) so you get varying sensations from just one toy. It also has the added benefit that it's really easy to clean.

Before using, I couldn't help but explore the tentacle with my fingers. I ran them down the full length of it (around 6"), over the bumps and back up the veined underside .....more than once! I coud feel each and every raise and bump in the dildo and was more than ready to explore further.
For my first use, I ran myself a hot bath and took the dildo in with me. After a few minutes I couldn't resist any longer and began to rub it over my clitoris. I could definately notice the bumps, and there was something quite erotic and seductive about how they felt. I slowly slid it inside my vagina and at first, it seemed a little uncomfortable, although the more I relaxed, the more enjoyable it became. I had absolutey no problem managing to keep hold of the tentacle, even when it was wet. The hook on the end of it is ideal to fit your finger through ensuring that you won't drop it - heaven forbid, and it makes it easier to manouvre. The warmth of the tentacle was a sensation that made me gasp with pleasure and I could feel each of the bumps hitting my pleasure zones as I slid it in and out. I'm normally a little put off by vibes/dildos which have bumps or stipples on them, although this one looked so attractive so I thought 'what the hell'. I'm really glad I did as they aren't quite as noticable when in use, and added to the overall satisfaction the tentacle gave.
Although i've only had this dildo for 2 days, iv'e also managed to try it chilled too - WOW!! I needed to use lube this time, but it was a completely different sensation and still resulted in me climaxing.

Overall I adore the Icicle No24 because it's not only a fantastic sex toy, but it's also stunningly beautiful to look at, and if you've been put off by hard bumps on dildos in the past, then look no further as this is perfect! The only thing I would say is that although I was perfectly happy for my partner to watch me using this, i'm not sure i'd let him loose with it on me, as sometimes men get a little carried away and I don't think this is very appropriate for rigorous use. I much preferred to take my time and enjoy the sensuality of it all.
