Recently, I noticed a competition running on facebook to win a
Doc Johnson Rock Star vibe of your choice from the very lovely
Penelope of
Vibrator Kingdom. I enetered on the off chance and was lucky enough to win!! So, for my prize I chose the
Rock Star Stevie Black.
Within a few days it arrived safe and sound but I had to wait a while before I could try it ....girlie troubles! Since I now have, I though i'd review it and let you all know what I thought.

Rock Star Stevie Black |
Stevie Black arrived in a pretty funky box which I loved! Despite it being simple clear plastic, the decorative roses etc make it scream 'Rock'.
|
Back of box |
On the back of the box is a brief description and inside is your vibe...
|
Stevie Black in all his glory |
The first thing I noticed was the lovely silky feel this had to it and the flattened end was ever so slightly squishy. The handle end is made from slightly stippled material, which was a bonus when trying to hold with slippery fingers! I really loved the kind of diamante belt around it's bulbous part as it adds that extra bit of glamour to the vibe ...
|
Diamante effect on belt |
As you can (hopefully) see in the pic above, it's made up of little raised pyramids which look really pretty when the light catches them .....not that you'll notice much once in use!
|
Battery Insertion |
Stevie requires 2AAA batteries (not included) and you simply unscrew the bottom as shown above to insert them ...
|
Directions for batteries |
Inside the battery compartment, you'll find a small piece of paper with a diagram of 2 batteries on it, this is to ensure you place them in the right way. Top tip here, don't remove that piece of paper as it makes the vibe somewhat noiser when you do! After I inserted the batteries for the first time, I removed the paper and turned it on then thought hmmm, not quite as whisper quiet as i'd expected. Then I replaced the paper and tried again ....it definitely helps muffle the noise!
|
Twist end to operate |
To operate just twist the end and you're off. The vibration gets stronger the further you twist and it goes from being a nice fluttery kind of vibration, to a pretty strong rocking one! There's plenty scope inbetween too so enough to satisfy most sexual apetites.
I lubed up and set myself away. As with most vibes I review, I like to start off with the lesser vibrations and work my way up ....mainly to see how easy/hard it is to operate when in use. Quite often I have to stop mid-session to alter speeds but with this, I managed to do it whilst still stimulating myself which didn't interrupt my flow.
The slightly flattened head is perfect for precision stimulation as this is where most of the vibration seems to be. They do run down the shaft but aren't quite as strong.
The style of this vibe makes it very easy to handle and as I mentioned earlier, changing speed is no problem even when fully lubed and in mid-flow.
I found the size of Stevie quite nice too ....not too big, but big enough to give a good session!
Overall I really enjoyed my personal time with Stevie. He stuck around until I was 100% satisfied and never tired or gave up. I've since used him a couple of times and I was quite comfortable letting my man take control - he drove me crazy using the flattened tip to stimulate my clitoris.
Cleaning is also very easy to do ...simply use your usual choice of cleaner/wipes and give him a thorough rub over. If you look after him, he's sure to look after you!!
Thankyou so much Penelope :)
